Corn Shuk Mei HO
Corn Shuk Mei Ho paints the subconscious at its quietest hours: atmospheric, melancholic scenes of night swimmers and dissolving landscapes, documenting what is lost and what is found. She took her BA in fine arts and French studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, kept a studio in Fotan, then completed her MFA with merit at Wimbledon College of Arts, University of the Arts London, and has lived and worked in London since 2016, showing across Hong Kong, London, Seoul, and Greece. Her Night Swims series has followed her from Hong Kong's Fringe Club to Mayfair, the same dark water in different cities; she calls herself painter, day-dreamer, wanderer, in that order.
