SHIN Yerin

Shin Yerin draws sculpture in the air. Working with 3D pens, layer by plastic layer, she builds translucent figures of city pedestrians, crowds caught mid-crossing and hung in space rather than mounted on walls. A sculpture graduate of Sungshin Women's University now in Hongik University's master's program, she held her solo exhibition City at Seoul's Hanikhwan Art Museum in 2024, has shown at Affordable Art Fair Singapore, and her work is held by the Bank of Korea. The figures stay translucent on purpose, city and crowd showing through each other.
